Kitchen Nightmares Episodes

Ever since I saw an episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, I got hooked. This US edition is an intensified version of the original British show Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. World-class chef Gordon Ramsay spends one week in the featured restaurant and identifies its problems. He talks to the owners, watches executive chefs and sous chefs, and makes necessary changes, may it be the food, the menu, the decor, or the people. The extent of the makeover extends to changing the names of the dining place.

Kitchen Nightmares does not only tackle problems with restaurant food, but also with how the business is being run by  its owners. Chef Ramsay imparts his keen business sense to the owners and makes sure they implement it. Chef Gordon Ramsay relaunches the restaurant in his last day, and gives his conclusion at the end of the dinner service.

At some point in the following season, Chef Ramsay revisits some of the restaurants he helped and checks if the changes he has done are being maintained. Some businesses are lucky to survive, and some are just too deep in the hole to make it.
