Happy Valentine's Day!

Just a quick post to greet everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you are enjoying this special day with your loved ones. Any plans for tonight? Dinner probably? I don't have any, as my girlfriend is not physically with me.

Anyway, I received a BULGARI Perfume from her. I liked the scent, very similar to ARMANI's GIO. My gift for her - as usual - will be late again. :P She doesn't mind.

Happy Valentine's Day once again!

Random Post: Warm in Jersey City

The weather forecast says it's going to be warm this week here in Jersey City. Yesterday it was gorgeous -- sunny and a little breezy. I wore short sleeve polo shirt to work matched with a pair of slacks.

Tommorow another nice day awaits. I heard it's going to be sunny, with temperature just below 60 degrees Fahrenheit! I guess it's a preview of Spring: warm, bright, with a little wind. I hope I can come to work wearing casual getup, you know like a pair of jeans (cheap monday jeans is a good brand), and a simple graphic tee, and a pair of sneakers, but no. I always have to wear business attire, otherwise I'd get reprimanded. :P

Anyway, I kinda like warm weather because it brings out the sweet aroma of the perfume I am wearing. I just received my Valentine gift from girlfriend -- a nice large bottle of Bulgari Aqua Eau De Toilette perfume!

The Lakers Beat Celtics and Cavaliers!

What an amazing week for Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers! They beat two powerhouse teams from the Eastern Conference: The Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Against the Celtics, the Lakers showed they can be physical as hell. They didn't fold when Boston Celtics pushed them off. Instead, they fought back and pushed. That's passion, muscle and intensity -- characteristics that were lacking from them last year when the leprechauns beat them badly in the Finals.

Against the Cavaliers, the Lakers showed they can play defense as well. Led by Lebron, the Cavs had been undefeated prior to Lakers match. The Lakers - number one in offense in the league - came with a game plan: pack the lane and don't give LeBron a room to shoot. It worked wonders. And since Lebron is a poor shooter, all he can do was to pass to a teammate or watch his contested shot miss. Oh, in this game, Kobe showed why he's the MVP: he played even with flu, played solid ball denial on Lebron early on, and took a decent FG attempt. If that's not an MVP, I don't know what is.

In conclusion, this road trip is a huge statement game by the Lakers not only to themselves, but also to the entire league. Even without a major player in Andrew Bynum, the Lakers showed everyone why they can win the championship this year.
