How to Cook Kutsinta


Kutsinta is one of the very famous Philippine delicacies because of its delicious taste. Kutsinta is also very easy to make, you just need an hour or so (including the preparation).

So how do you make a popular Filipino food like kutsinta? The steps are very simple actually. Mix and steam, that's it. But first things first. Here are the ingredients:
  • flour - 1 cup
  • brown sugar - 2 cups
  • water - 3 cups
  • lye water (potassium carbonate solution sold in Asian food stores) - 1 teaspoon
  • Freshly grated coconut (budbod na niyog)

i followed ur recipe kutsinta--too much sugar not the taste of like the originals, bad for diabetic /hi blood etc..unhealthy recipe bcoz of too much sugar..
